Man I&rsquo;ve lived in Europe for about 6 months now (Madrid) and this is the best service + food I&rsquo;ve had thus far. The food was phenomenal and the staff were all so attentive and friendly to me and my friend. I typically don&rsquo;t write reviews but I feel obligated to because of how good the food and service was, and for a really good price too. Not only did the food taste amazing but the presentation of the plates was like a fine dining restaurant for a quarter of the cost. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Venice.

Osteria Da Nico

The menu had few chooses, description was scarse and confusing, which made me return my dish: although I confirmed with the waiter to have my sea bass grilled, I received a sea bass in a salt jacket... I was told that the fish thus &quot;dressed up&quot; was prepared on a grill... I was brought few minutes later another one, if not the same one, slightly grilled. My husband and my daughter had to generously add salt and pepper to their dishes - venetian liver and tagliatelle with porcini - in an attempt to improve taste. The experience was disappointing, although the staff was very friendly and considerate.

Great restaurant! Very quaint and romantic. Felt like fine dining on a budget. I had the tagliatelle bolognese which was delicious and the perfect portion size! It also came out of the kitchen very quickly! (Around 5 minutes). Be aware, water is not free and you are not allowed to drink from your own water bottle. So I opted for a glass of Pinot Grigio lol. You will also have to pay a 2,50&euro; cover charge. Espresso for desert was a great way to end my experience!

Don&#39;t look at the store, all the guests who make an appointment are made, otherwise it will take a long time to queue up, and the characteristics of the store are required. Seafood Italian pizza, really a lot of seafood, the pizza is also very good, very delicious.

The authentic spaghetti store, the lobster spaghetti inside is really excellent, and there is some of my favorite black ink sauce noodles, and then I want dessert, white water is also charged.

It&rsquo;s a century-old store again, the business is still very good, the store is not too big, but the biggest feature here is the grandfather waiter, every grandfather is so cute... The food is also very delicious

Wonderful food. The waitor was very attentive in the start but kept doing too many things during the time we were there (maybe they were showet staffed). Ambience wise the Place felt more like a coffee Place than a restaurant - but again the food was superb and the prices good

I am not one to leave negative reviews, but this place was very highly rated, and it simply failed to meet expectations. The food quality was poor, to be blunt. Based on the positive reviews, it is possible that this restaurant has had some turnover in their kitchen in recent months. Not sure. I would recommend staying away from traditional pasta dishes at this establishment. My wife&rsquo;s pasta dish was the worst dish that we have tried in Italy. I got the lamb chops. They were cooked well, but they were bland and under-seasoned. Overall, the food quality was very disappointing.One additional complaint: We sat inside, but the door to the patio was wide open. Some of the people occupying the tables on the patio were smoking cigarettes. Because the patio door was left open, the smoke carried right inside the restaurant. If you are a non-smoker and don&rsquo;t like smelling cigarette smoke while you eat dinner, this might be a bit annoying. I feel the wait staff should be observant enough to realize this.

We chose the fried seafood and black egg raviolini with scampi sauce.The latter dish was really good, the seafood an average to large portion I would say 6.5/10.The waiters were friendly , however we sat there waiting for our food and no bread was offered until I prompted the waiter to bring some.We had seen other people who were waiting for their meals have bread on their table and they were happily munching away.We were hungry.We spoke English and the waiters were relatively warm and helpful.

Great meal in a quiet location away from the main touristy areas.Would definitely recommend as this was the best meal we had during the four days we were in Venice.
